PROJECT BACKGROUND
As an intern for Canyon Creative, I worked with a team to help our client (Miah Families) with their branding/web design.
Miah Families is a non-profit organization in Oregon, that focuses on bridging the generational gap found within society when creating spaces to do life with individuals with disabilities. They offer senior care, childcare, and support for adults with disabilities and their family members.
DESIGN RATIONALE
My colleague (Kelley Bowen) created the brand guide for Miah Families, establishing the branding for me to work with. From there, I created a website that encompasses the brand’s core values and mission, which includes igniting hope and belonging and offering support for families that feel the lack of community/help they need.
I wanted the website to embody the brand’s positive, nurturing, and hopeful personality, while providing a clean, simple, and easy-to-navigate layout. Ensuring that site visitors are educated, informed, and empowered.
